You can run a 305 all day long on a 70-72 and a 295 on 68-69 without rubbing depending on how low your car is dropped. I think most guys with stock rearends and 20s run a 5.75 to 6 inch backspace. I don't have a good backspace number or you because I am running a 4.5 backspace and a narrowed rear. I am going to step down to a 35 series in a 295 or 305.
